Outside at Neponset Valley Child Care in Norwood

This is where it all starts ... Children need early childhood programs that will enable them to grow and develop to their fullest potential and each stage of their growth is important and unique.

In order to provide your child with a quality experience, our staff, facilities and curriculum meet and exceed state standards.  We have developed our own unique curriculum for each age level.  Our curriculum is enhanced by continual updates from both our curriculum coordinator and our professional staff.

Infants and toddlers

Caring for infants and toddlers is one of the most challenging responsibilities for early education and care centers.   Our infant and toddler rooms are warm, soft, language-rich environment designed to support nurturing and warm interactions between children and caregivers.

Research shows the quality of early education and care has an impact on the physical, cognitive and social development of young children and these experiences in the first few years of life have a profound and lasting impact on social, emotional, intellectual and language development.

Our philosophy with all of our children is to continue the care your child receives at home.  We firmly believe your child's day starts at home, with you, and ends at home, when you put your child to bed.  We simply fill in the hours you are at work.

Learning in the Preschool classroom!

Exploration, Imagination and Success!

To ensure school readiness and to support the needs of working families, preschool must be available to all families that want and need it.   The classes for this age group are designed so that each child will be able to learn all the necessary skills to succeed in Kindergarten and continue to thrive academically and socially.

At the core of our curriculum are well-planned learning centers that allow for child choice and self-directed play, small group, and supportive teachings that prepare children for academic excellence.

We believe that children:

Learn through active exploration.

Will develop imagination, reasoning and self-confidence by problem solving.

Will develop skills to function as individuals as well as a member of a group.

School Age Connection

Before/After School/Vacations for older children

Children spend only 20% of their waking hours in school - six hours a day, 180 days per year.   What they do with the other 80% is one of the most pressing concerns facing parents.   The time children spend after school and beyond represents a critical opportunity to engage them in rich, dynamic and challenging activities to help them learn, explore their talents, develop positive relationships with peers and adults, and build the skills necessary to succeed in life.

School Age Connection offers a relaxed, balanced program with time to play, learn with friends, finish homework and let off steam.  Open year round.
